Life Extension Super Omega-3 EPA/DHA with Sesame Lignans & Olive Extract is a premium fish oil formula delivering a concentrated blend of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) sourced from wild anchovy. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function, and EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. DHA also contributes to the maintenance of normal vision. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA.
This advanced formula goes beyond standard fish oil by incorporating a standardised olive leaf and fruit extract (Olea europaea L.) providing polyphenols, including hydroxytyrosol and oleuropein. Olive polyphenols contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress — a beneficial effect obtained with a daily intake of 5 mg of hydroxytyrosol and its derivatives in olive oil. Each serving also includes sesame seed extract (Sesamum indicum L.), adding further depth to this carefully engineered softgel formula.
Presented in easy-to-swallow softgels with a natural lemon flavouring, this EU-labelled version comes in a generous 240-softgel pack, making it well suited for long-term daily supplementation.
